Heavenly Father, we, the Pastors and Bishops of African Christians Prayer Outreach, come before Your glorious presence to pray for and uplift Your beloved child, our dear reader, known to You as "Child of God." We seek Your divine protection and strength as we confront and overcome the demons that seek to afflict us.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke every evil force that may be at work in the life of Your child. Just as Jesus commanded the demons to leave the possessed man in Mark 5:1-20, we ask for deliverance and freedom from all spiritual oppression. Lord, we declare Isaiah 54:17 over Your child, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
We trust in Your promise in 1 John 4:4 that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We stand firm on the truth of Ephesians 6:12 that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Help us to put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that we may stand against the schemes of the devil.
Lord, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:7. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment, as mentioned in James 1:5, to recognize and resist the lies and temptations of the enemy. May Your light shine brightly in the darkness, just as Matthew 5:14-16 encourages us to be the light of the world.
We claim victory through the blood of Jesus Christ, which cleanses us from all sin and defeats the enemy, as proclaimed in Revelation 12:11. Strengthen our faith, O Lord, and help us to walk in obedience to Your word, knowing that You are our refuge and fortress, as depicted in Psalm 91.
May Your grace abound in our lives, empowering us to overcome every trial and tribulation, and to emerge victorious in Your name. We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and protection. In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.
